Excellent & well managed Factory. I got opportunity to observe minutely ,though for a very short period while working there as Deputy General Manager(Maintenance).

It was a personal visit to meet family, but I have had the opportunity of the floor walk at Jindal Aluminium and I must say I am quite impressed with the operations and the amount of work happening on a daily basis.
What is most commendable is how Jindal is taking care of its work force. Its like one BIG family inside there. They celebrate all festivals together, specially HOLI is a treat to watch. Lot of gifts provided to employees during these festivities along with food.
Employees get Accomodation [within the campus], medical facilities [Jindal Naturopathy and hospital], schooling [Jindal school] and many other basic amenities within the boundaries. I LOVE the one-ness there. All in all, it is a great example of an amazing work place.

JAL is pretty good when it comes to employee benefits and I am thoroughly satisfied with their employee satisfaction initiatives. The work load may be a tad bit high at times but the compensation provided is ample and the food is quite good. They follow a lot of rules and regulations as every company does. I have more than 7 years of experience in the company. I find the appraisal processes fair and the monetary compensation is good.

I work with the Marketing department at Jindal Aluminium Limited. The Sales sector is a very demanding area and targets are always set with a lot of analysis and thought. It is true that targets are hard to achieve sometimes however, meeting them is mandatory in every company and sales team are paid handsome salaries with a lot of incentives as well. When the reward is high, you should be willing to work as hard and though there is a lot of pressure, I continue with the Sales department as the pay is unmatched and I for one am willing to put in extra effort if it is going to be rewarded handsomely. In my experience, JAL can be very rewarding if you stick with rules and set targets and put in your best.

I joined JAL a year back and the first thing that I found was that the pay is excellent. I had been interviewed for quite a few companies and had couple of offers in hand however, JAL offered me the best. When I joined, I was assigned a mentor (my HOD) and he helped me wherever I struggled and this is done for every new employee so that they understand the processes to be followed and so on. Initially, I struggled with the strict rules and long hours but then you get used to it and the pay is pretty good for all that! I have seen people being promoted very quickly if they are good performers and slackers not being tolerated. Performance reviews are conducted regularly and you are directly told if you are a poor performance.
